nautilus-gksu allows you to open files with administration privileges

The gksu extension for nautilus allows you to open files with administration privileges using the context menu when browsing your files with nautilus.

Install nautilus gksu extension in ubuntu

Open the terminal and run the following command

sudo apt-get install nautilus-gksu
